Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and Myexis for using the app and this website. Please read them. By using Myexis, you accept them.

Who we are

Myexis is operated as a sole proprietorship established in Belgium (“Myexis”, “we”, “us”). You can reach us at support@myexis.com.

What Myexis does

Myexis helps you see and manage your digital footprint — the companies and services that have you — by reading the metadata of inboxes you choose to connect, entirely on your device. How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

Your responsibilities

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) and able to enter into this agreement.
• Only connect email accounts that are yours and that you are permitted to access.
• Use Myexis for your own personal purposes, and not to break the law, infringe others’ rights, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.

Your content and accounts

Your footprint data is yours. Myexis claims no ownership of it. Because it is stored on your device and in your own iCloud, you are responsible for your device security and your Apple ID. We are not responsible for loss of data caused by device failure, loss of your Apple ID, or your own deletions.

Third parties

Myexis relies on services from Apple, Google, Microsoft, and Yahoo, and may show you information about, or links to, the companies in your footprint. We do not control those third parties, are not responsible for their content or actions, and any guidance Myexis gives about managing or closing an account is informational — the outcome depends on the company, not on us.

Subscriptions (Myexis Pro)

Some features require Myexis Pro, sold as an auto-renewing subscription through Apple’s In-App Purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage or cancel it in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms.

No professional advice

Myexis is an information and organisation tool. It does not provide legal, financial, or professional advice, and you should not rely on it as such.

Availability and changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may change these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date; continuing to use Myexis after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Disclaimers

Myexis is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will identify every company that has you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Myexis will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Belgium, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of that jurisdiction will have jurisdiction — except that if you are a consumer, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer-protection rights and courts available to you where you live.
